Here is a clean and simple project using some of the new In-Colours for 2016-18 while we wait!
I am really pleased with how simple this is – I have teamed Emerald Envy (NEW COLOUR) card stock with Whisper White and Sweet Sugar Plum(NEW COLOUR) – this is fast becoming a new favourite! I used the same colours in ink pads. The stamp sets are Balloon Celebration and Layering Loveliness (NEW STAMP SET), both of which can be found in the new Annual Catalogue.
Now I like simple cards, but sometimes you need a little bit more. So over the next few days, whilst I am waiting for my new products to arrive, I am going to show you how I upscale my simple projects with a few tips, techniques and accessories. There are definitely some NEW and exciting accessories – which can be found in the new Annual Catalogue and can be viewed here – I really hope you will pop back and see how it is going…

So the challenge this time is a Card for a Child being hosted by the lovely Trudie! This was a toughie for me as within my family my children are no longer little – way past the cutesy cards and now only wanting those with a comedy value or some clever popular culture reference! And among my wider family, we are only just beginning to have children – well babies – start to arrive. Mostly we have boys. Lots of boys. So I thought maybe a girly card and found this fabulous stamp by Saturated Canary who also happen to be our sponsors this time around! Yippee – cos I love Krista’s designs!
Haley and Harley
The pink card is Primrose Petals and the ribbon is Pink Pirouette two tone ribbon both from Stampin up. The Background paper, the fantastic Spellbinders die (I think it is Lace Doily Motifs) and my favourite Promarkers ( the Spring/Summer Limited Edition Collection) all came from That Craft Place – thank you Lisa! Love everything I get in my Happy Post!
I love making cards and am currently trying some new techniques which I will hopefully share with you very soon! Until then….remember to stamp your place in the world! xxxx
So we are heading towards the wedding season. I have had quite a few folk ask me to make wedding stationery for them but have had to recommend other people as that is really not my forte I am afraid. I am not restrained enough for the discipline of wedding stationery. What I can do of course is wedding cards and favour boxes etc. Which brings me very nicely to Stampdelicious by Stamp!!!! This month we are concentrating on 3d boxes, feminine wall hangings and a wedding card. These can all be adjusted to make non wedding items but the theme is there for these this time….here we go with the sneak peaks…..
This first is embellishment (or embezzlements as my good friend Moni’s husband calles them!!!) for a favour box and features pearl cardstock, Basic Black and Sahara Sand as well as Sahara sand seem binding ribbon.
Love & Laughter
This second sneak peak is a delightful project which features the Love and Laughter stamp set – all of these projects have the same colour scheme – but this is so lush and I really think you will love it! and last but not least a fabulous project….
This is a fabulous project that you will want to make again and again – I know I am looking forward to making another – my cousins daughter is getting married later this year and I will be sending one down to her. Such a lovely thing make as well as give as a gift!
Okay so that is your sneak peak for this set of projects – I really do hope that you are going to love them….How do you get them? Oh easy peasy – head over to the Paypal button up on the side there and make your payment – Paypal sends me a message to let me know you are taking this months Stampdelicious by Stamp and I will post them out to you just after the first of the month! All you need is your favourite tools and adhesives! All instructions included and all for just £17.99! Book yours now! All products in the projects can be bought, through me, from Stampin’ Up! so you can make these projects again and again and again….
Until next time….remember to stamp your place in the world! xxx
As you know I have been asked to join a design team over at That Craft Place challenge blog…I hope you don’t mind but I wanted to share with you post for this over at my sister blog: Travelling Colours. here it is….
This is my first ‘That Craft Place’ design team project and I am so excited to have been chosen to be part of the design team. It is a daunting project with so many talented people around and so many different aspects to crafting to be having a go at but here goes …. and I truly hope you like it. Whilst I have made this card specifically for the challenge – which is ANYTHING GOES by the way!!! – I had already spotted this image somewhere else and loved but thought I might have to wait until the winter months came back around to use it. One of my favourite things about crafting is the colouring in – I like lots of different media for this but my current favourite is marker pens…
Glitter Card Stock – Stampin’ Up Silver Glimmer Paper
Die Cuts – Memory Box
Image – Mo Manning
Pro markers Pens
So that’s the first project made – have a look over on the That Craft Place challenge blog at all the wonderful and amazing projects the other girls have made and maybe have a go yourself – you never know it could be your project that wins the very next prize!
So till next time – remember to stamp your place in the world! xxx
