NEWS LETTER….NEWS LETTER….NEWS LETTER….NEWS LETTER….

Well this will be quite short as I am busy preparing for a big event next weekend but I wanted to tell you as much news as possible so I have written a news letter! You can read this by clicking on the link below – I do hope you like it – It means that I can get the class info out to as many people as possible including those who don’t yet read my blog!  Please let me know what you think….

I am going to include a few pics too however – the first is a basket I just made for my MIL, I didn’t get to see her at either Easter or on Mothers Day so took this when I visited with her recently.

Twitterpated Flower Basket

I have to confess and tell you that MB made the flowers for me! I have used Rose Red and Whisper White  card stock with Twitterpated DSP and the delightful Lucky Limeade dotty ribbon for trim. I had intended to use oasis inside the basket to hold the flowers but for some reason I couldn’t find it so used scrunched up tissue paper to hold the flowers in place and wouldn’t you just know it – When I got back form visiting with MIL I found it straight away! This was a lovely project to make and I look forward to making more – next time with Cala Lily flowers I think.

This next picture is of a Michael Powell stamp I bought recently. I was taking part in the Splitcoast Stampers Virtual Stamp night – did you take part? I almost forgot – so not like me! heheheh! and one of the challenges was for reflected image – I thought this stamp would lend itself perfectly – I really like the cartoon quality of this stamp and loved colouring it in.

And finally, this is a work in progress for an up and coming class where we will be making this basket and filling it with hand made flowers too – you can book a place to join me in making this lovely project – see my newsletter for details! –

Paper Roses Basket

I call this the Donny and Marie basket because all I kept thinking about while making these flowers was the Donny and Marie track Paper Roses! You may be too young and if you are I apologise…..

On that note – until next time remember to stamp your place in the world! xxx

Fabulous New Class! …and in other news….

Good Morning Girls! – once again time has eluded me, health and the water board people have stood in my way but I have not been idle!  So First of all my youngest son had another trip to the hospital and three days on intravenous antibiotics for another non exterminate infection – this time his shin – and came home on crutches and time off school during his exams. I spent my time either running up and down to the hospital or running up and down to school trying to get him into exams and home right after!   All good fun…

It was also necessary to cancel a couple of classes which are held in my home since the Water Board people decided that they needed to cut our water off for repairs out in the street – no loo’s! for two days and one night! – so classes have been all over the place with the various bank holidays too!

BUT WE ARE BACK WITH A BANG!  Flaming June is going to be a busy one! Classes are as follows:

Tuesdays – as normal – 10.00 am for Technique Tuesday

Saturday June 16th  10.00 am start – A Fabulous ONE SHEET WONDER Stamp a StackEight Cards, a delightful decorated bag to pop them all in AND a Super Sentiments Stamp set included to take home and use on your cards!  Doesn’t get any better…  This Class is First Come First Served and costs £30 per person. Venue is Table Table at Linwood. Head over to my blog page to book your place using the PayPal button. (NB This class must be paid for in advance to ensure your stamp set is available to you on the day.)

Saturday  June 23rd 10.00 am start – Technique Tornado Day – if learning techniques is your thing then this is the class for you! – 6-8 techniques, the focus is on the technique rather than the finished card although all elements are provided for you to go home with 6-8 finished items including at least one 3d item. This Class is First Come First Served and costs £25 per person. Venue is Table Table at Linwood. Head over to my blog page to book your place using the PayPal button.

Fabulous eh? and here is a sneak preview of what we are making in the One Sheet Wonder class….

Don’t these look totally scrumptious? I love this Twitterpated Designer Card stock from the Stampin Up Summer Mini – you can buy this from now until the end of August but get it quick as once its gone….its not coming back!

In other news…Although our water and the bank holidays have been a disruption this month we have managed to make some lovely cards in our Tuesday class….here’s one we made this week….

I love stepper cards – they are so unusual and can cover almost every occasion. This one is made with Kraft card and Very Vanilla with Early Espresso ribbon and the rather lovely Faith in Nature stamp set. This came out really well and looks lovely IRL with soft embossing on the flower.

Okay Girls – thats it for today – I will be back….honest….later in the week with some more makes to show…Dont forget to book your place on the classes as it will be strictly FIRST COME FIRST SERVED….

till next time don’t forget to stamp your place in the world! xxx
